WELLE: ERDBALL is a German Electronic-Band founded in 1990 which sees itself as an imaginary radio station and also works thus. Musically, the “transmitter” moves in the area between the Neue Deutsche Welle, analogue electronic music and New Wave. It might also be extremely that a C64 is a “full band member”.
To their jubilee in 2010 they published a project film ‘Operation: Zeitsturm’ which was already performed on the WGT in Leipzig in 2008 for the first time. In June, 2011 appeared the album 'Mono-Poly' of the FUNKHAUSGRUPPE, a cooperation of WELLE: ERDBALL and the bands DIE PERLEN, SONNENBRANDT and HERTZINFARKT. In autumn, WELLE: ERDBALL will start to their 'Kalter Krieg Tour'. On 3rd of November, 2011 these unusual artists will visit the Backstage in Munich.
