SAMSAS TRAUM was founded in 1996 by Alexander Kaschte, and since then they have gained a growing community of true fans. The name of the band, which alludes to the story of Kafka “Die Verwandlung”, can be read as a indication of their philosophy. Because SAMSAS TRAUM is imaginative, visionary, but also lugubrious and full of anger and pain.
The band’s musical style is a mixture between Dark Metal and Gothic, but has got also some elements of symphonical music. SAMSAS TRAUM has published nine albums until now, their last one, ‘Anleitung zum Totsein’, in 2011. A concert of SAMSAS TRAUM is a guarantee for a varied, emotional, powerful evening.
