Eldar (Marc Merinee & Merce Spica) returns with a new album and with their significant mixture of dark-ambient and bombastic martial music. As always they choose the title for their album related to a philosophical and mystical meaning. On "Amesha Spentas"the songs has been created based on the work by Goya, from the conceptual point of view. Viewing these works through an occult philosophy. Each song is placed in a specific historical moment. All sounds and instruments are also chosen specifically for each songs individual concept. Using multitude of synths, samples, tools (metals, knives, bowls, pipes, wood, etc.) together with field recordings. Creating that special dark haunted atmosphere that has become well-known as the ELDAR sound. Alonso Urbanos, who created the conceptual artwork, is a graphic designer well known in Spain by different musical genres, also as a musician under the name "Scumearth" of Ambient Noise genre.Source: Newsletter

The album features the blazing new single Jawbreaker as well as mastering by Codec of Codec & Flexor fame. Dead When I Found Her is the studio project of Portland, Oregon's Michael Arthur Holloway, a professional electronic musician and producer who sites Skinny Puppy, Haujobb, Mentallo & the Fixer, Forma Tadre, Doubting Thomas, amongst other pioneering industrial artists as influences. Tracks from the debut album Harm's Way have been the talk of music forums since they started to appear on Myspace and Soundcloud in 2009, and the attention the project has received is nothing short of impressive. The project soon found a home on Artoffact Records, and 12 tracks were selected for the debut release. Dead When I Found Her re-creates classic late-80's/early-90's industrial without sounding cliched, adding a modernized sonic signature to a dark and brooding foundation. On 10th September, the new album of GRINDERMAN; the band of Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Jim Sclavunos and Marty P. Casey, is going to be released on Mute Records/ Good To Go. The album, pragmatically titled ‘Grinderman 2’, has been produced in 2009 in London by the band and Nick Launay, who’s been co-producing and mixing the debut in 2007 already. With the new album, GRINDERMAN will hit the road for an extensive tour of Europe in September and October.
