Front woman Amy Lee recently confirmed the band is in the studio working on their third album. Producer by Amy's side will be no one less than renowned Grammy winner Steve Lillywhite. "I can't explain how excited I am to make this record.", says Amy Lee "For over six months, these songs have become the centre of my life and I can't wait to finally hear them grow in the studio. I think our sound has evolved to something people will be surprised by...in a positive sense. I think development and growth are an incredible and boundless thing if you allow it. I don't want to make the same album again." So Amy Lee promises a new sound experience for the impatiently waiting EVANESCENCE fan base, which the band aims to put under their spell again, and surprise with their development. Latvian dark death metallers Preternatural has posted online their new EP called "Cryophobia" for FREE downloading. In October of 2009 the band released their debut video "Cryophobia". Now, the so-titled audio follower is available through the internet only, and is absolutely FREE for downloading or listening. EP was recorded and mixed with the help of sound engineer Gint Lundberg at "Pentagon Music" studio in Latvia. It contains two new songs from the upcoming album, one song from the band's first demo record, re-recorded and re-arranged, and 2 live tracks performed in Riga, Latvia in 2009. Vocalist Serg comments on this: "Currently, we're busy with the new album making process, so this is a gift to all of you in order not to be bored, while waiting for the new album.
