Welcome to a new audio therapy in the Electro-madhouse! On “mental [per]mutation”, our favourite patients dive deeper into the everyday life of the institution, unearthing a sonic roller coaster ride of thudding mutated dance-floor-Industrial hybrids (“Käferfrühstück”, “Mister 29” and many more) , acoustic experiments, as well as instrumentals with a soundtrack-like feel (the “Retrograd”-series.) During the course of the album, the listener will gain deep insights into psychoacoustic excerpts from the patients’ files, strange new forms of therapy and numerous soliloquies, often between multiple personalities. “mental [per]mutation“ includes a second disc on which special cases from outside the institution (among them the NYC-Techno-legend Lenny Dee) have gained access to KiEw’s sound files to inject them with their very own madness. Combichrist, the post-apocalyptic Electro-act that is currently touring Europe with Rammstein is releasing a brand-new menacing club smasher in form of „Scarred“, the third single from the highly successful album release „Today We Are All Demons.“ Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland has spiced up the massive, new single version of the track with some smashing guitar work. The hellish new CD-maxi features this searing reinvention alongside three other new mixes and the album version of the title track. To top things off, “Scarred” also contains the red hot new track “Parental Content!” A perfect appetizer for the new album that is projected for release in late summer.- Details

For way over 20 years, Belgian Body Beats Production specializes in concert promotion and to a certain extend, even performing live. With that much of experience it should be easy to pull another decent festival besides the BIM Fest, and that’s exactly what they did in 2009 with the first Body Beats festival. For that first edition they already could come up with a set of big names such as THE NEON JUDGEMENT, PSYCHE or PORTION CONTROL amongst others. The festival met with great reception, so the decision that there would be a second edition wasn’t a hard thing to make. On 1st May 2010, the festival is going to return now with a bang. The headlining slot was given to the cross-over electro-punks of CASSANDRA COMPLEX who will definitely prove they’re still a force to be reckoned with, even after such a long time.

Both guitarists from the Norwegian extreme metal band PANTHEON I have received endorsement deals from ESP Guitars and Morley Pedals. Guitarist Sagstad (TROLLFEST, SARKOM), who plays guitars from the ESP range commented, “Anyone who has played an ESP guitar will understand perfectly when I say that we wanted the best and we got the best”. Guitarist/Vocalist Kvebek (DEN SAAKALDTE, ex 1349) has this to say about his guitars of choice: “To hold an ESP Ltd guitar in your hands is the musical equivalent to holding a Gatling gun during a battle.
