The US American master of Dark Wave, a renowned artist, soon releases his sixth album ‘Infinite Gaze to the Sun’. Seldom has he been aiming towards the dance floors that much, but still hasn’t lost his sense for catchy and darkly melancholic songs. For the first time he wrote the songs solely on guitar to add the typical electro elements later during the production. The result is a phenomenal “Gothtronica” album that is the current pinnacle in regards to sound selection and song writing which furthermore can score with a unique style. Here’s hoping that the artist will finally tour Europe’s stages in 2010. Until that comes to pass, fans will find comfort in ‘Infinite Gaze to the Sun’ and the video clips and artwork, all conceptually linked to the silent film era.Source: Newsletter

Following WINTERMOND’s spectacular success at Battle of the bands 2008 they’ll now release their first studio album ‘Desiderium’. Teaming up with the Danse Macabre label and Bruno Kramm (Das Ich) mastering the stuff, professionals of the scene have been employed. The unique voices of Didic and Gabrielle, who have recorded all vocals in German, set the right tone for the harsh guitar riffs. Whenever there was a border, may it be a musical, or an artistic one, there has always been a band that was willing to cross it. To break new paths others might follow them on. RAMMSTEIN can definitely be counted to that circle of bands. It’s like it’s been embedded into their genes and is like a golden threat permeating from the start, the band name already bears enough stuff for controversy, until the present with the heavily talked about video clip to the recent single ‘Pussy’ off their newest full-length album ‘Liebe ist für alle da’.

Assemblage 23, Abstract Decay
Prior to starting ASSEMBLAGE 23, mastermind Tom Shear had already made music from the beginning of the 80´s. Eventually, the foundation stone of the American project had been laid in 1988 at a DEPECHE MODE concert when Shear listened to the opening DJ who played industrial dance music. In 1999, Tom Shear released the first ASSEMBLAGE 23 album entitled with `Contempt´ and soon received a growing attention that has been undiminished until today. Last year, ASSEMBLAGE 23´s most recent album `Compass´ hit the stores and was highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike. This year, Tom Shear will be on an extensive tour leading him to Europe and the USA from February to May.
