It is no secret that God Module front man and mastermind Jasyn Bangert likes it spooky. The head of one of the most prolific U.S.-dark Electro bands has always been sporting a major inclination towards the dark side of humanity, but never before did he display his fondness for zombies, trashy horror and splatter so openly. "Let’s Go Dark" is a menacing club- gorefest with the same amount of massive gloomy Electro-onslaught that we have come to expect from the group, plus a lot of ironic subtleties and tongue-in-cheek humor.
Musically, Bangert and Co. are more versatile than ever – guaranteed floor burners, like the title song, "Beyond Fear" or "Undone" go hand in hand with acoustic horror films like "Spooky"… and "Corpses (A Zombie Love Song)" is most probably the first Hardfloor love ballad ever. In the year 2007, God Module stand as the living proof that hard Electro can be intelligent and full of experimental zest without ever betraying its roots. "Let’s Go Dark" will be released as a limited first pressing in a deluxe Digipak. The horror disco has opened its gates … and the zombies shall rise from their graves to shake their miraculously revigorated bones. This is clearly no album that will keep you "dead tired"! We go dark … and we like it! Backkatalog:
