Cannibal Corpse, Man Must Die

US death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE will hit Ireland in March 2018 in support of their new ‘Red Before Black’ album which was released in November. The name CANNIBAL CORPSE evokes many associations, but only one word hits the nail on the head for its description: unstoppable. The Death Metal veterans were now releasing their monstrous 14th studio album ‘Red before Black’. By doing this, they are by no means re-acquainted with the old, but raise the bar once more and clearly make it clear who sets the standards when it comes to compelling music that is brutal and complex at the same time. In addition, the band is constantly pushing to new extremes, to make sure that their latest songs stand out from their previous catalogue.

Also thanks to the production of Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, GOATWHORE), ‘Red Before Black’ proves that the boys are by no means rewarming the old, but raises the bar once more and makes it clear who sets the standards when it comes to it is going to make compelling music that is both brutal and complex at the same time. In addition, the band has again spurred to make sure that the disc stands out from their previous catalogue. “Throughout our career, we’ve always tried to improve, both in terms of precision when interacting with each other, and on the production side, without sacrificing aggressiveness. ‘Red before Black’ continues this tradition, but is probably more focused on the aggressive. The album definitely sounds precise, but at the same time as raw as anything we've done recently,”says bassist Alex Webster. “We worked hard to work out, rehearse, and bring these songs to the level, that’s what we had in mind, even more so than in our recent albums,” adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, “and as Alex said, we’ve rarely sounded so though - yet it's our most concentrated, tightest and catchiest album ever.”

Supporting the evening is MAN MUST DIE from Glasgow, Scotland.
