Nickelback - Here & Now Tour 2012
NICKELBACK is a rock band from Alberta/ Canada which was founded in 1995. The band name originated from something, that Chad Kroeger’s brother, who worked that time at Starbucks, said to the customers: “Here's your nickel back”, because the change money was mostly 5 cents. The band had its national breakthrough in 2000 with their album 'The State'. They attained international name recognition then in 2001 with their third album 'Silver Side Up'. In the meantime, they sold about 45 million albums, often receiving platinum- and gold status.
In November 2011, they published their latest album 'Here and Now' which reached place 2 of the German charts. Starting middle of September 2012, NICKELBACK are on tour in Germany. Besides Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Stuttgart, the tour leads them also to the Olympiahalle in Munich on the 26th September.
