This year again, Alexander “Asp” Spreng and his band are back on tour in Germany. With their new album ‘Maskenhaft’, released on 2nd August 2013, they'll stop twice in Hamburg. On 11th and 12th October, the fans can look forward on not only hearing old and new songs, but also to a brand new stage show. Since 13 years now, the guys from Frankfurt belong to a fixed size in the gothic scene and have managed already to sell out concerts and reach top chart position.
But they are not some of the mainstream artists. With their "Gothic Novel Rock", they went directly in the hearts of their fan base, which grows continuously. Every single song is a short story in itself, and ASP have much to tell. So their last EP ‘GeistERfahrer’ has been released just half a year ago. Their lyrics are literary demanding, but not cheesy or clichéd. They carry off in foreign worlds, but leave enough stuff for reflecting in our own. ASP never loses the contact with their fans - at their concerts these always have been involved in the show. A band which is absolutely worth seeing - not only for the black scene!
