Apocalyptica - Open Air 2025
The Finnish cello Metallers of APOCALYPTICA are returning to Germany! Their journey began in 1996, when cellists from the world-renowned Sibelius Academy in Helsinki staged a tribute to the four greatest titans of METALLICA. Countless shows later, the classically oriented cellists are back to their roots.
Bandleader Eicca Toppinnen comments: “It’s incredible to think that after all these years our tribute to METALLICA still speaks so powerfully to people. To be able to share our love for METALLICA’s music with the live audience is an absolutely magical experience. This time the show is going to be next level, and we can't wait to get back out there and share the fun with our fans!”
The Finnish string players are brimming with energy and bring their music to life with their experience and passion. The journeys are more epic, the goals farther, and the rewards so much richer than anything this exciting, ambitious quartet has ever produced.
