Café Sputnik, Münster, Germany
12th December2013
Jordan Reyne & Vic Anselmo

Celtic, Industrial Rock will be presented on this evening by the multi-talented singer / songwriter from New Zealand. Radio New Zealand named her as the author of new sound by creating an unique blend of acoustic loops, Celtic vocals, found sounds, and the stories that surround them.

She was already nominated for the New Zealand’s equivalent of the Grammy - the TUI award. Jordan has lent her voice to tracks on Cafe Del Mar, a funeral scene on Peter Jacksons "Lord of the Rings", featured as guest vocalist with THE STRAWPEOPLE, Zane Lowe's band Breaks Co-op, and THE EDEN HOUSE (where she is now part of the permanent live line-up). She has toured the UK, Poland, Germany and New Zealand and performed at Glastonbury (UK), Wave Gothic Treffen (Germany), The New Zealand International Festival of the Arts (NZ), The Big Day Out (NZ / Aus), Frankfurt Music Messe (Germany) and Soundedit (Poland). Her musical versatility has gained her supports for bands as diverse as THE FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, WHITE ZOMBIE, ROME, HANSEL AND GRETEL and THE EDEN HOUSE. Furthermore she wrote and produced an audio book and a novel ‘Remembering the dead’. Jordan's live performances are as technically fascinating as they are musically engaging. She uses two Diitech Harmann loop machines to sample her own voice live, in the moment, building up layers of harmony and melody to blend with guitar, found sound, and percussion.

As second artist on that evening, Vic Anselmo, a Latvian Gothic/Alternative singer and songwriter living actually in Germany, will enter the stage. A stunning voice and wide musical horizon let her find her own special ways in composing music. Her songs sound like a soundtrack to imaginary movie. They are very sensual and amaze with dynamic contrasts and sound variety. Her live performances are always catching, whether she plays together with her band, or alone on stage at her acoustic shows, playing keyboard and guitar. Vic Anselmo is the first Latvian alternative female singer that got to be known outside the Baltic States. She was supporting act for DEINE LAKAIEN at their ‘Indicator’ tour where she opened the evenings with her acoustic set and gathered new fans. VIC ANSELMO performed already at several festivals in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK and toured several countries in Europe. As she was also guest singer for several bands and musicians like DAS ICH, MESH, ANTIMATTER, SAMSAS TRAUM and ION many people took notice of her amazing vocal talent on this way. Furthermore she is also a member of INNER FEAR, a project of Craddle of Filth drummer Martin Marthus Škaroupka.
