Since 1993, EVERGREY from Gothenburg wander through the metal scene with their ever dark atmospheres and lyrics embedded into progressively-tinged song structures. They put out 6 studio albums within that time all of which moulded a remarkable reputation both in their native Sweden and in other parts of Europe. The band toured around the globe several times and shared stages with such acts as IN FLAMES, CHILDREN OF BODOM or ICED EARTH.
The newest of the mentioned six albums is called ‘Torn’ and if you just take a look at the generally positive reviews that popped in, there definitely must be something about this record. On their “Europe Torn 2009”, they’re going to stop at many different European countries and venues and their very first stop will be in Bochum’s Matrix to weave a net of darkness around the German audience. So if you’re not too afraid get some tickets and be there on 16th September 2009. They’ll be supported by the Italian metal heads of CHAOS WAVE and a yet unnamed special guest.
