Canadian alternative rockers of BILLY TALENT are coming to Frankfurt on 27th November 2009! Formed in 1993 under the name PEZZ, Benjamin Kowalewicz (lead vocals), Ian D´Sa (guitar, vocals), Jonathan Gallant (bass, backing vocals) and Aaron Solowoniuk (drums, percussion) started their career with progressive rock and the album `Watoosh!´. In 1999, they decided to name to BILLY TALENT after a character taken from the movie “Hard Core Logo”.
Up to now, the guys have released the long-players `Billy Talent´ (2003), `Billy Talent II´ (2006) and `Billy Talent III´ (2009). Furthermore, they recorded a DVD entitled with `666 Live´ providing a collection of concerts that had been recorded in Dusseldorf, Brixton and while performing at the well-known “Rock am Ring” festival in 2007. Due to energizing appearances and anthemic rock songs, BILLY TALENT has gained a good reputation as an amazing live act.
