Jahrhunderthalle, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
2nd December 2009
Silbermond

Within the scope of their upcoming “Nichts passiert” tour, the Bautzen-based pop / rock band SILBERMOND will also come to Frankfurt. Due to successful German language ballads such as `Durch die Nacht´ (2004), `Symphonie´ (2004), `Das Beste´ (2006) and `Irgendwas bleibt´ (2009), the formation has become very popular in Germany over the years. Front woman and vocalist Stefanie Kloß, Johannes Stolle (bass), Thomas Stolle (guitar, piano) and Andreas Nowak (drums) laid the foundation of SILBERMOND in 1998 when two of them formed the band EXAKT.

Two years later and with the recent line-up, they named the project to JAST and won diverse competitions. In 2002, they chose the name SILBERMOND and focussed on German lyrics combined with catchy melodies that are influenced by rock and pop sounds. Meanwhile, the four-piece has released the three full-length albums `Verschwende deine Zeit´ (2004), `Laut gedacht´ (2006) and `Nichts passiert´ (2009). Moreover, SILBERMOND has been honoured many times: For example, the formation won three ECHO and four Comet awards.
