On 20th of February, the brightest representatives of English electronic music, MESH, will perform in Tochka Club, Moscow. Live shows of the formation are always notable for the musical power and energy and usually they are intensified by nonstandard conceptual videos. In this sense, the band’s current tour has not become an exception. After three years of silence MESH appeared with the new work entitled ‘A Perfect Solution’. This album touches a bit gloomier themes than its predecessors do however the band keeps up a clear verge between the “bitter” and the “sweet”. ‘A Perfect Solution’ is released in Russia by Soyuz.
On the 20th of February in Tochka, MESH will be accompanied by the American fellows ASSEMBLAGE 23. Its founder Tom Shear supplies electro gothic scene with hits for almost 10 years already and now the band is on tour to support the new album ‘Compass’ [Accession Records], which definitely deserves one’s attention and fully reflects Tom’s strongest talent that is the one to write fantastic ballads, haunting melodies and club hits excellent for having dance-floors filled. Tom Shear is a real professional and he managed to add some powerful rhythms to this new record and of course he achieved that kind of sound that makes the fans admire ASSEMBLAGE 23. This perfect sonic combination presented on the album will surely attract more new fans to the band. ‘Compass’ is released in Russia by Irond. All fans of elegant electronic music shall not miss this album of course live show of the band!
The commitment to open the event is laid onto TENEK, a young promising band from England which released the debut album ‘Stateless’ in 2009.The band has been called one of the most energetic and outstanding projects of the year. The musicians are actively touring and they played live shows together with such legends of electronic music as THE HUMAN LEAGUE and FLOCK OF SEAGULLS, as well as performed on European festivals.
