Exit North & Support: Sweet Billy Pilgrim
EXIT NORTH played at the Wardrobe, Leeds on 27th April 2025 as part of their debut UK tour. This was a short tour - comprising of only four dates in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and London. They are joined by SWEET BILLY PILGRIM as opening act.
The Wardrobe is ideally situated in the cultural quarter of Leeds, offering food and drinking, live music and entertainment. Its proximity to the Playhouse Theatre makes it a popular venue for both thespians and culture vultures. The live music room is small, intimate and self-contained. Tonight, we are here to see Exit North. I have an enviable position slightly elevated above the stage, having been escorted down in the lift and past the backstage area, by a very helpful female security (being disabled occasionally has its advantages).

Pixies - “The Night The Zombies Came Tour 2025” - Support: The Pale White
On Friday, 2 May 2025, the PIXIES performed at the Palladium Cologne as part of their European “The Night The Zombies Came” tour. This concert was one of three dates in Germany for the band, who thrilled fans with their energetic performance and carefully compiled setlist. Opening act THE WHITE PALE from Newcastle in the UK fired up the audience.

Spear of Destiny - “Janus Tour 2025” - Special Guests: Skeletal Family
SPEAR OF DESTINY is a British rock band, formed in London in 1982 by lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Kirk Brandon and bassist Stan Stammers. ‘Janus’ is the brand-new album from SPEAR OF DESTINY, all 24 tracks are re-recordings from the 1987 & 1988 album’s ‘Outland’ & ‘The Price You Pay’. ‘Janus’ hits the shops on Friday, 2nd May 2025. In the course of the album release, the band is on tour again.

As dusk settled over Hanover, the MusikZentrum became a sanctuary for fans eager to experience the hauntingly beautiful voice of PETER HEPPNER. The anticipation was palpable, not just for the nostalgia of his classic hits but also for the unveiling of new material from his forthcoming album, ‘Am Leben.’ The evening promised a journey through emotions, memories, and the ethereal landscapes that Heppner so masterfully crafts.

Fischer-Z – “Classics Revisited”
In Europe, FISCHER-Z are considered one of the most successful and influential British Post-Punk bands, held in the same regard as acts like DEPECHE MODE and THE CURE. John Watts is a man of the people and, at the same time, a dedicated outsider. This duality is one reason his career has been so unique. The current album, ‘Triptych’, brings these and other qualities to life in a vivid expression of the present. Highlights include the anarchic Steam-Punk of the title track ‘Triptych’, the haunting Motown pulse of ‘When Love Goes Wrong’, and the poignant storytelling of ‘Conclusion’, brimming with detail and ingenuity, and equally at home in a club or on a concert stage. FISCHER-Z performrd the crème de la crème of their hits from the early 1980s along with select tracks from the new album at an energetic new stage production.
