Album Review

DEBAUCHERY’s formed in 2000 and presents to us death metal a unique genre in the metal world we are all very familiar with and can relate too. Their last instalment ‘Continue to Kill’ was a bloodier and dreadful side of their musical tastes and ways. But this time around DEBAUCHERY gives us the ‘Rockers and War’, destroys everything you once knew of DEBAUCHERY and doesn't give it back to you in any way possible. Their passed creations were what they were, that’s why they are in the past that was then and this is now and now we get thrown with a rawer and more aggressive side of DEBAUCHERY.

Each of the 11-tracks given to us is powerful packed with an intense and aggressive side of music. The guitars working ten times faster and more speed are progressed as each song is played through. ‘Primordial Annihilator’ gives you just that feeling that fast aggressive taste and feel of what the music has to offer you. The guitar work and drumming is well played beating roughly against one another. The vocalist is in deep control letting the lyrics easily roll off his tongue growling until his throat is sore and bleeding until he lays motionless and dead. ‘Killing Ground’ is another powerful mix up having the heavy side of the guitars creative works and then breaks away into a mellow side of the instruments which slow begins to build up creating an aggressive and brutalizing side which easily blends in with the vocals and blastful beatings of the drums. The tempo plays throughout the entire album from beginning to the very mists of the end with ‘I'm A Rocker’ which carries a more less heavy influence but still contains that heavy duty energy that gives a direct punch to your face attitude.

Fans of Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Vader, and Six Feet Under will fall in love with these guys but just like those guys do they contain a metaling influence that just won’t stop giving such an amazing sense and feel and connection to the music being played. DEBAUCHERY's ‘Rockers and War’ is a step up from their previous accomplishments and blows the passed competition away in a micro second.
