Album Review

I'm thinking about the german band Feindflug when I look to the cd and the artwork of it. Everybody knows Feindflug with their WO-II influences. They're having tracktitles like “…Ein Soldat” and “Destination: Stalingrad”. The cd looks great, but how is the music? It's all about the music. Most of the trackssounds like rough death metal with a nice deeply grunt. This all in combination with guitar and basriffs. They used some special effects with WO-II sounds. The members from Caducity used up-tempo and slow parts in their music. The recordings from the instruments are very well, same like the mix between the instruments.

The lyrics are in English and in German, which is very funny for a Belgium band. You can hear the influences from Feindflug at: “Destination: Stalingrad” and the lyrics at the outro “When Death Emoraces Me…”.

Conclusion

This cd is different then the other cd's from Caducity. It sounds much better and the WO-II sounds are an additive for the music. The combination about instruments and vocals is a great mix and different than other Belgium metal bands. The recordings are also very good in mean of sound and music. Destination: Caducity is a must have for metal and Feindflug fans. It sounds a littlebit like a tribute to Feindflug.
