Album Review
Jaz Coleman and his company are back with their 15th studio album titled ‘Pylon’, the 3rd album in a row with the original line-up. In this album KILLING JOKE are in the path they “walk” in their latest albums, a mix of Dark Wave, Gothic Rock, Industrial and Metal but in this album this mix sounds even better! The album is a music experience with tribal elements boombastic bass and dark guitar sounds, all those under Jaz Coleman's characteristic voice and the very good production which made by Tom Dalgety (ROYAL BLOOD, OPETH, GRAVE).
All the tracks of the album are very good, when you'll push the play button on your cd player you will not realize when the next 56 minutes will pass, it's a dark dystopia fiery journey that when the album finish you will look around you and you'll ask yourself “what happened now”. I don't have much to say about ‘Pylon’ the album is a music experience that you have to taste in order to understand how good this album is. 35 years since they started their music journey KILLING JOKE released one of their best albums in their career and for sure one of the best albums for 2015.
