Every story has a beginning and the telling of the tale is just as fun as living it. Which brings us to the winter session of 2000, where this band was born from a cross-core projected of Joe the front man of the band, and only after a few months the band had finally reached their permanent line-up: Klown (singer), Luca (guitar), Paul (drums), Alan (guitar), Meni (bass) and Piggy Delirium (samples). The band had worked hard day and night to full fill their destination routes of becoming musicians and their time had come to shine above all the rest which they did. Their style is original and crosses over with a catchy upbeat techno driven tone that keeps the music overflowing constantly.
Not only is the music all their own creation but the band plays only their original handmade tunes no covers what so ever, and each of these musicians comes from a totally different musical education, which easily creates an identifiable sound and exposure that OVERUNIT MACHINE can claim as their own. Their album ‘Antropophobia’ consists of 10 tracks; the whole done being self-produced and self-delivered making it reach its 1,000 copy sold to date. Making everyone in the music world bands and fans alike is amazed by this unique creativity. Some tunes that tend to stick out the most include ‘Breathe’, ‘Teethgrinder’, and ‘I Know Who You Are’, each one establishing its own creativeness. The instrumentals used throughout this album make the music mellow but maintains a fast driven pace to it as well, keeping the music at an easy-listening status all along. So overall OVERUNIT MACHINE’s ‘Antropophobia’ is a selection worthy of a listen.
