Album Review

We all know that all bands sound alike or exactly the same from time to time and this band would go down the lines of sounding very similar to that of Every Time I Die's style. But wait this is not the case here in this situation; these southern eager-go friendly attics MAYLENE AND THE SONS OD DISASTER have persuaded their listeners to take a step into the third dimension. Clearly that being labelled as their ‘III’ album in their musical career and this is one you may want to avoid. A handful of odds and ends are located on here as the band tends to default their post-hardcore style with only a minor riff placed here and there. While the next half takes it up a notch. Enlightening the music completely with a bit less intensity and having crisp clean vocals you can enjoy. This is well done but it’s time to stop with the slow acoustic sides and harmonicas and banjos being used. This isn't the country side, this is the rock n roll side and these music listeners want to rock their socks off not singing "hey diddle, diddle the cat and the fiddle." Got to kick it up another notch!
