To mark the 20th anniversary of AIDA Night of the Proms in Germany, the musical event once again presents an exclusive mix of international top artists. During this jubilee edition, the symphonic orchestra Il Novecento will accompany Morten Harket (the voice of A-HA), rising star Amy Macdonald, John Miles, the Berlin rock’n'roll band The Baseballs and the Japanese pianist Hiromi as classical soloist. The German tour starts on 29 November in Cologne and is staging 17 shows in 12 German cities. Tickets are available at www.eventim.de.
“For 20 years now, we are breaking all classical concert rules and are rewarded for this with such great enthusiasm from our visitors that it just can’t be wrong”, says Dirk Hohmeyer, German producer and organizer of the tour. “Thanks to us six million visitors, who might otherwise never visit a classical concert, have come in contact with classical music in recent years.”
