2014, AMPHI FESTIVAL celebrates its 10th anniversary and the promoters are looking forward to presenting you another extraordinary festival. While the first bands for the Amphi anniversary will be announced on 12th August, they have the latest information about the pre-selling start and an important change concerning children on the festival.
10 YEARS OF AMPHI FESTIVAL – PRE-SELLING STARTS 01.08.2013
Pre-selling for the 10th anniversary on 26th & 27th July 2014 begins on 1st August 2013. Original festival-tickets will be available exclusively from the AMPHI SHOP at www.amphi-shop.de including the highly requested 5+1 group-tickets (buy six, pay five). The group tickets are strictly limited. As usual we have group-buys for weekend tickets as for each day.
Furthermore you can buy tickets at all nationwide EVENTIM box offices or www.eventim.de. Tickets are also available directly now in the Netherlands at www.eventim.nl, in Austria at www.oeticket.com and in Switzerland at www.ticketcorner.ch, including all associated box-offices.
FIRST INFO ABOUT THE PREMIUM EVENT – „CALL THE SHIP 2 PORT”
Very likely the opening event „Call The Ship 2 Port“ will also return in 2014. The success of the debut was overwhelming and afterwards we received an incredible request for continuation. We are currently aiming to begin pre-sales for the event on 1st September 2013 and will inform you about the necessary details as soon as we´ve got them. As usual it will be possible to upgrade regular weekend tickets into premium tickets later.

CHANGES CONCERNING CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS
An open-air festival poses an immense physical and mental stress for children, which especially small children should only be exposed to in cases of utter exception. Unfortunately promoters noticed an increased number of cases in which even smallest children and babys in carriages were brought to the festival. Many parents already protect their children with noise protection or by keeping them in the back area of the venue but not all of them. To prevent such cases promoters decided to alter their admittance rules in 2014, only admitting children by the age of 6 or older. In the interest of your children they ask all parents who are affected by this measure for their understanding.
