Both, the Hurricane and Southside festival are going to take place from June 24 till 26, this year; the former in Eichenring Scheeßel and the latter in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany. Recently, the third headliner has been confirmed: THE PRODIGY. Just at the beginning of this week, the sad passing of DAVID BOWIE has shown that memories are truly significant in music and experiencing of music. Particularly festivals offer us the opportunity to see a lot of great artists on a single weekend – like, for example, in 2004 when DAVID BOWIE played his last grandiose Germany concert at the Hurricane festival. Ultimately, it's great music icons such as DAVID BOWIE that give us reason to keep on going. So, the organizers of the Hurricane and Southside are happy having won THE PRODIGY as the third headliner for the coming summer.The already confirmed headliners RAMMSTEIN and MUMFORD & SONS are joined by these unsurpassed masters of rave and electro punk, who are still just as loud, aggressive, and angry as 20 years ago at the beginning of their music career. With their live qualities THE PRODIGY will definitely make the crowd dance. Further beats for a jolly party mood will be delivered by the Swedish electro duo AXWELL Λ INGROSSO and BLOC PARTY, who will present another great manifesto of danceable indie pop with their new album 'Hymns´. BLUE PILLS, ANTI-FLAG, SKINDRED, KVELERTAK, and BALTHAZAR will also be there. On the whole, the line-up of the twin festivals has grown to 61 artists by now.

Hurricane Kombi-Tickets are available for 179€ including a 10€ garbage deposit and a train flat fare at www.hurricane.de, www.eventim.de, and via phone +49 (0) 1806 – 853 653. On January 29 at 12:00pm, the price will be fixed to 189€ incl. 10€ garbage deposit, train flat fare, and additional fees. The ticket includes the onetime journey here and there by the metronome trains (see further transport conditions on www.hurricane.de/). Visitors who arrive in a camper, caravan, or a similar vehicle will need a camper badge to be able to access their reserved parking space. You can get these badges, that cost 35€ per vehicle, only online via the festival homepage or via phone at the ticket service.
Southside-Kombi-Tickets are available for 189 € including a 10€ garbage deposit and at and a train flat fare at www.southside.de, www.eventim.de and via phone +49 (0) 1806 – 853 653. On January 29 at 12:00pm, the price will be fixed to 199€ incl. 10€ garbage deposit, train flat fare, and additional fees. The ticket includes the onetime journey to and from the festival by all locals trains of the DB Regio AG (see further transport conditions on www.southside.de). Visitors who arrive in a camper, caravan, or similar vehicle will need a camper badge to be able to access their reserved parking space. Camping badges for the Southside are already sold out.
