Another headliner for the Hurricane and Southside Festival from June 16th to 18th, 2023 has been confirmed in BILLY TALENT. The Canadian rock legend almost completes the headlining roster of MUSE, DIE ÄRZTE, KRAFTKLUB, PLACEBO, CASPER, PETER FOX and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - Another big name will be announced in the coming year. Organizer FKP Scorpio is already pleased to have curated a top-class and exciting line-up for the twin festivals in Scheeßel and Neuhausen ob Eck with the 34 names published today.BILLY TALENT have kept their fans waiting for a new album for six years. However, even with the first pre-released singles, it was clear that the wait would be worth it. The music of ‘Crisis of Faith’ is the product of a long and intensive creative phase and almost symphonic in structure, without missing the raw joy of playing, to which the band owes their breakthrough. The Canadians, who will be in the coming year for 30 years standing on stage has achieved a great success: A broad but harmonic expansion of their sound without diluting what has made BILLY TALENT what they are, especially live: An internationally successful and iconic alternative rock formation, which has shaped several genres at the same time.
The names that have also been confirmed are just as style-defining as they are versatile:
Delivering meaningful songwriting and catchy anthems ARE BOSSE, CLUESO, BUKAHARA, GAYLE, CAVETOWN, EDWIN ROSEN, DYLAN, PICTURE THIS and WILL LINLEY. The following acts are bringing harder guitar sounds with them: MADSEN, DONOTS, ENTER SHIKARI, SONDASCHULE, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, BETONTOD, THE INTERRUPTERS, ANTI-FLAG, KAFFKIEZ, ZEBRAHEAD, AKNE KID JOE, DEAF HAVANA, RAZZ, THE AMAZONS and TAYLOR ACORN. Delivering intense beats and great hook lines are BHZ, TRETTMANN, LOYLE CARNER, ASHNIKKO, 01099 and DRUNKEN MASTERS. Fans of electronic music will also get their money’s worth with DAÐI FREYR, ALLE FARBEN and MEZERG. Additional acts, including a headliner, will be announced soon.
Day tickets for both festivals are now available for EUR 119. Festival passes for all days including camping are available from EUR 229 (Hurricane) or EUR 259 (Southside). Hurricane tickets are only available for this price until December 24th at 12 noon before the next price level of 249 euros takes effect.
