Ten days before the expiration of the deadline for the reduced ticket prices, over 70.000 Ring- and Park Rocker bought their tickets. The feedback on Germany’s most popular Open Air Events from 6th to 8th June at the Nürburgring and around the Zeppelin field in Nuremberg, is comparatively way bigger than in the past year, when a new record was set with over 150.000 visitors.
After the Line-up already comes up with some world class top acts with METALLICA, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and DIE TOTEN HOSEN, the rest of the festival programme consists of a myriad of attractive participants and the list gets permanently enhanced.
The newest protagonists, confirmed for the two festivals are amongst others: THE VERVE, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, DIE SÖHNE MANNHEIMS, SERJ TANKIAN, JIMMY EAT WORLD, CHRIS CORNELL, COHEED & CAMBRIA, JONATHAN DAVIS and HOT CHIP.
INCUBUS, THE PRODIGY, HIM, FETTES BROT, DISTURBED, SINPKE PLAN and KATE NASH already confirmed their festival attendance before. More highlights are: SPORTFREUNDE STILLER, NIGHTWISH, MOTÖRHEAD, THE BABYSHAMBLES, IN FLAMES, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, THE CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, JUSTICE and ROISIN MURPHY. So far already 40 artists and bands are confirmed for the twin festivals. All in all 85 acts will perform on three stages.
The reduced ticket price of 125 EUR (126 EUR Rock im Park) is only offered until 29th February. As of 1st March the price raises up to 135 EUR incl. the presale charges, camping, parking as well as the refundable garbage pledge of 5 EUR. Besides that there’ll be the CTS charge and eventually shipping costs.
