DAF are reknowned as pioneers and inspiration of genres like Neue Deutsche Welle, Electropunk, Techno and Neue Deutsche Härte. Until today revolting characters Delgado / Görl have inspired generations and pushed forward music styles like Acid-House and Independent-EBM. Besides Kraftwerk DAF gained more influence in the international music industry than any other German band.
According to their song "Als wär's das letzte Mal" ("As if this is for the last time") Delgado / Görl get back for a counterstrike reunion-gig to push the groggy EBM generation back on top as the "Sheriffs" they used to be.
