Since their inception a good decade ago, singer and guitarist Jared Leto and his band 30 SECONDS TO MARS produced powerful, melody-driven Alternative Rock. The charismatic front man always aspired to an international career as musician. Latest with their second album ‘A Beautiful Lie’ from 2005 in support of which they played over 500 shows all over the globe, 30 SECONDS TO MARS belongs to the top league of US Rock. Following sold-out shows in June and celebrated gigs at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, the band around Jared Leto and his brother Shannon will come back to Germany once more for an exclusive gig at König-Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen. In December 2009, the highly anticipated new album ‘This is War’ was released, which right away entered several country’s charts, amongst them being the US, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
