In 2008, CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS celebrated its 20th anniversary with a huge yard sale party at the company’s European headquarter in Dortmund (Germany). Due to the enormous success of this event, we have decided to set up a big party again and invite you all to come out and enjoy one hell of a metal day with us! Dubbed METAL FOR THE MASSES 2010, on September 4th CENTURY MEDIA will turn its premises into the company’s own cosy festival area with live shows by ASPHYX and a special solo & medley performance by DEVON GRAVES (Psychotic Waltz / Dead Soul Tribe / The Shadow Theory). In addition to that, you will have the chance to buy CDs, shirts and more during a huge yard sale.

The event starts at 14:00 CET and from 17:00 CET the abovementioned acts will rock the place. The entrance is free!!!

Back in 1988 Robert Kampf founded CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS in Dortmund in the middle of the Ruhr area and thus started one of the most renowned independent labels for heavy music, which nowadays also has offices in Los Angeles, London, Milan, Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, and Melbourne. In 2010, the entire Ruhr area has applied for the title European Capital of Culture and CENTURY MEDIA is a prime example for taking the creative potential of the metal, rock and hardcore subculture in this region to global success.
