That every story has two sides, is for sure when you read about the split-up from Dutch gothmetal band After Forever with their label Transmission Records. Klutae, aka Claus Larsen of Leaether Strip fame, has covered two legendary electronic acts for his newest album "Hit'n'Run" out in April on Alfa Matrix. The two covers are "Blue Monday" by New Order and "Circus of death" by The Human League. Both tracks got a strong electronic overhaul still reminding fithful to the original versions. Remarkable is that while Klutae always had the reputation of a more guitar orientated approach, the "Hit'n'Run" offers a rich electronic pallet that even refers more to Leaether Strip with the odd guitar-oriented sounding track inbetween. This move is already clearly audible on Klutae's most recent EPCD "Sinner" of which the first promos have now surfaced. Add to this Larsen's very unique sense of humour resulting in phrases such as "Fat faggots in leather jackets" and you all know Klutae is back for good. The album also comes out as a limited carton box edition with the exclusive bonus Mini-CD "Roadkiller". Quick ones will also appreciate the free compilation CD "Sounds from the matrix 003" which has become a very much saught after gem. The 3rd volume features new material from such bands as Mentallo & The Fixer, I :Scintilla, Tamtrum, Technoir, Inure, Unter Null, Zombie Girl, Monolith, Neikka RPM and many more acts from the Alfa Matrix stable. Below you can download audio previews of both the single and the album!Source: Newsletter
