Hi friends,
we got really bad news. Unfortunately SOLITUDE AETURNUS cannot play at KIT and all the other planned dates in Europe. The cause for that is, that the wife of bassist Steve is expecting her first child on that date and the band does not want to come over without him. For us it is really a hard strike, cause the band was a highly important part of the billing. At the end of this mail, there is also a statement of guitarist John Perez. We now are hard at work booking another great heavy metal band, that can replace SOLITUDE AETURNUS and it looks really good at the moment, that we can. We hope to announce that next week. Again we are really sorry and disappointed about the situation, but we hope to get the band for the April 2006 date. That is all we can do at the moment.

Fronted by the nightingale-throated Sharon den Adel, the band is completed by Robert Westerholt (guitar), Jeroen Van Veen (bass), Stephen van Haestregt (drums), Martijn Spierenburg (keyboards), and Ruud Jolie (guitar).
“We are very happy that our new album is being released by Roadrunner in the U.K., Australia, and Japan,” say Sharon and Robert. “A lot of our fans from these countries send us messages requesting a local album release. We wanted to work with a label that understands our music and now we are definitely at the right place.”
