Upon realizing a common creative ground and like-minded artistic approach back in 2000, Borknagar’s main songwriter Øystein G. Brun and Swedish multi-instrumentalist Mr. V (a.k.a. Vintersorg, prior to even joining Borknagar) decided to get together one day to create a band-project with musical output that slightly differs from the style of their main bands. “Terra” (out in Europe March 27th, 2006), their atmospheric and progressive debut album is drawing elements from '70s art-rock straight through the current Nordic black metal scene. The album was mastered by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Unicorn, Bloodbath, etc.) at his Unisound studio and should cater the needs of fans of Bathory and Samael.Dare a challenging personal journey of the soul and check out "Diode Earth" from this soundtrack for our current arctic times.

Get a taste from MAROON’s third album “When Worlds Collide” that will be unleashed upon Europe March 27th by listening to “Wake Up In Hell”. After successfully touring Europe with Obituary and Samael in January MAROON are gearing up for the release of their Century Media Records debut-album which should delight fans of band such as Hatebreed, In Flames and As I Lay Dying. Paul A. Romano (Mastodon, Trivium) was taking care of the record's visual aspects to assure it has the right impact. No matter how much they gravitated towards some of the heaviest material of their still-young career, MAROON still kept their political awareness and involvement in an outspoken lifestyle - “This is the fight for the voiceless minority…” (24 HourHate). Welcome Annihilation…
“… deadly riffs... nastiest shouts…highest musicality…” Rock Hard (D)
