After the big success in 2012 and 2013, we are happy to announce another edition of the Gothic Meets Classic Festival. Besides the already from the last years known Symphony Orchestra from Zilona Gora, MONO INC. FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY and SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS will enter the stage of the Gewandhaus on 2nd November 2014. Together with the orchestra under the direction of Czeslaw Grabowski, the bands will present their songs in classic and never-heard outfit.

Already in the last years, those new interpretations of known in classic dress were frenetically celebrated by the audience and took care for emotional moments within fans and artists; just remember the shows of VNV NATION, BLUTENGEL, COMBICHRIST, STAUBKIND or SUBWAY TO SALLY.

The gothic-metal band around Mikki (vocals) und Rico H (guitar) exists fort en years now. On European stages, STONEMAN already supported bands like DEATHSTARS, XANDRIA or TIAMAT. Now, the band comes with a new album, offering a mixture of catchy dark pop, capricious gothic and chrome-shining metal riffs. Bitter-sweet melodies meet brutal harshness. Berlin bases star producer Steve van Velvet was accompanying the band in the Kohlekeller Studios to put the final touch onto the album. The upcoming album bears the name ‘Goldmarie’ and will be released on 25th April.

Swedish Heavy Metallers PORTRAIT announce the release of their new album 'Crossroads' for April, 25th. The band is finally prepared to unveil the album title, art, and release the first single from the record. "In Time" is streaming now on www.metalblade.com/portrait, where fans can also pre-order copies of 'Crossroads' on CD, vinyl and digital downloads. Gothenburg's MIASMAL have finished the recording of their second album. "Cursed Redeemer" was recorded by Fredrik Nordström in Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Opeth, Wolfpack, Agrimonia, Martyrdöd), containing eight tracks of ruthless, ferocious and straight forward death metal and featuring a fine cover artwork by Mattias Frisk (Ghost, Vampire, Vanhelgd etc.).
