2013 was truly an eventful year for DEW-SCENTED! The band released the special anniversary compilation "Insurgent", toured Europe with Testament in April, played several outstanding festival events (including the inaugural Full Metal Cruise as well as Wacken Open Air) and then finished off by touring Europe (10 countries) again with Death Angel. What a blast! "2014 is scheduled to be a quieter year, since we are focusing on writing the follow-up album to 2012's "Icarus" release. We have gathered about eight really strong songs so far and are currently working on a couple more. The material is as relentless as you would expect it fromDEW-SCENTED, but also shows different new elements in the mix, since everyone (Marvin, Rory, Joost and Koen) is bringing in ideas and writing contributions this time. As things look right now, we should be ready to start recordings around summer and are aiming at an early 2015 release date for the album. More news about that soon…"

The artwork for 'New Southern', the upcoming debut album by Oklahoma natives & saviors of southern-infused hard rock ANTI-MORTEM, has been revealed worldwide today. Album artwork was created by Brent Elliott White (DEATH ANGEL, JOB FOR A COWBOY, TRIVIUM). 'New Southern' will be released in physical & digital formats on April 25th in Europe, April via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Montreal based death metal powerhouse KATAKLYSM, have recruited friend and director Tommy Jones (TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, EX DEO) to shoot a new music video with the band early next month in the New Jersey area. Jones, who has also worked on the group’s acclaimed 'Iron Will' DVD, will helm a clip for KATAKLYSM’s rendition of the SACRED REICH classic, ‘The American Way’.  "It’s just like a bull in a china shop stomping its way through," stated SACRED REICH’s frontman Phil Rind of KATAKLYSM’s take on their signature track.
