Swedish Death Metallers ENTRAILS have just finished recording two songs to be released on a limited 7" vinyl single on the 28th of February! Side A will feature the title track "Berzerk", side B a cover of HEAVY LOAD's classic "Dreaming". The single will be available in black (300 copies), green (100 copies) and white (100 copies, excl. only available from HERE!). Comments ENTRAILS: "With a small sidestep from our work in the massive rehearsals for the new album we decided to do a halfway release. The new song "Berzerk" is a straight forward fist of fury and Death metal terror, with some eeire elements. It's a natural step from our latest album "Raging Death". It will also appear on the next longplayer, slightly different in every term as this single was recorded and mixed by Jimmy in Entrails own studio. We also decided to do a cover of Heavy Loads Classic "Dreaming" though we did this one the Entrails way with D-beats and massive sound!"
The highly acclaimed concert Blutengel played with a symphony orchestra in front of a sold-out Neues Gewandhaus Leipzig at the first Gothic Meets Klassik Festival seemed like a revelation to all people involved. Carefully rearranged and carried by the massive sound of a full orchestra, the Berlin-based group’s songs unfolded a completely new dimension of impact that left no one cold and had even long-time fans discover the music from a brand-new perspective. Band-mastermind and singer Chris Pohl and second vocalist Ulrike Goldmann were so mesmerized by the experience that they decided it would be a waste to let this project just be a one-time event.
Faderhead has just released a video for the first single off his new album "Atoms & Emptiness" called Stand Up. Watch it at YouTube! Only 11 months after the successful "FH4"-album, Faderhead is back once again to release his new CD "Atoms & Emptiness". This new record chronicles a period of time in the private life of the German producer where almost everything went wrong - which apparently provided endless inspiration and intensified the songwriting process. Musically, "Atoms & Emptiness" must definitely be considered the darkest and most melancholic Faderhead record. Although the typical Faderhead trademark mix of club electro, popsongs and ballads defines this album, you'll be hard-pressed to find fun-tracks like "Dancers" or "Coke For My Ass" this time around.
