Dead Belgian are a Liverpool-based band playing the music of Jacques Brel. They began life in 2007, inspired to share Brel’s music with all who would listen. Each member brought their own influences to the band, from European folk to progressive rock, stripping the songs to their bare bones and fattening them up again using a ramshackle drum kit, ukulele, guitar, accordion, saxophone, mandolin, clarinet and flute. Dead Belgian have developed a playful and inventive sound that meshes dense melodic patterns, demonic waves of intensity and passages of sparse frailty with vocals that have drawn comparison to Edith Piaf, Anthony Hegarty and Nico.

Rock/Black/Doom Metal outfit from Italy, FORGOTTEN TOMB, have announced that their seventh to date album will be out this Autumn on Agonia Records. The album called ...And Don't Deliver Us From Evil will consist of 7 brand new songs, that are currently being recorded at Elfo Studio (Piacenza, Italy). Finnish Finnvox Studios (Impaled Nazarene, Amorphis, Children Of Bodom, HIM) will take care of mastering. First fruits of bands work may be seen in the video report posted below.

The Danish thrash- and death metal outfit Blood Label has just premiered the video for the track 'Evil Incarnate' off their debut EP 'Existence Expires' from 2011. The video was shot by Anton B. Iversen and Andreas Berg at the bands live performance at Train in their hometown Aarhus.

AFFECTOR, the highly skilled new international progressive rock/metal band consisting of German guitar-player Daniel Fries, Dutch drummer Collin Leijenaar (Neal Morse/Dilemma) as well as the US based bass player Mike LePond (Symphony X) and vocalist Ted Leonard (Spock's Beard/Enchant/Thought Chamber), are drawing nearer to the release date for their debut album, "Harmagedon", on May 21st, 2012 in Europe and May 22nd, 2012 in North America via InsideOutMusic.
