In Swedens darkest woods there's a micropolis named Tranås and behind all its fur coats, gossip girls and dramas stands DEGREES (DGRS), an emotive two-man band featuring Mikael Jacobson (The Trick, Late Night Conversations) and Rickard Folke (Boygirlme). The guys met in 2001 and have been friends ever since. With the same love for music, both stuck in a crazy small town, they decided to put their hearts and brains together in september 2008 to form the band "DEGREES".

Fans of electropop will rejoice over the Mesh release "An Alternative Solution", the remix album accompanying "A Perfect Solution" -- surely one of the electropop highlights of recent years.
"We didn’t want to have big bands as remixers, but just friends we know personally, and who we know like our music, and with whom we have a relationship," says Mesh singer Mark Hockings,"The status of the remixers was secondary, the important thing was that the mixes were good. I guess this is something no one really believed would be happening anymore, but it's official. In a post on his forum Brendan Perry revealed that he and Lisa Gerrard will be doing a new album together as DEAD CAN DANCE, planned to be completed in summer 2012. A two-month tour to support the album is planned for late 2012.
