THE RASMUS are a Finnish Alternative-Rock band which was founded in 1994. Latest since their album 'Dead Letters' was released in 2003, which is also their most successful album up to now, the band around singer Lauri Ylönen is known also outside from Finland, especially for the title 'In The Shadows' taken from this album.
In the course of their existence they already received some honouring, as for example the MTV European Music Award (in 2003 for 'Best Nordic Act' and in 2005 for 'Best Finnish Act') and several times the Emma Award. Finally, after long publication break, the release of their eighth album is announced for the late spring. In the course of the release, we can experience the rockers in four German cities live on stage. Besides their concert on 14th of May 2012 in the Backstage Munich they also come to Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne.
