EARTH CRISIS is one of the most talked about bands in the history of hardcore music. Their music has become the soundtrack to a movement of kids searching for an alternative lifestyle and has landed the band on the covers of magazines and even on national news networks to talk about their music and motives. Without a doubt, EARTH CRISIS is one of the single most influential bands in hardcore and they have now completed work on their latest effort - their 7th overall - which will be titled “Neutralize the Threat” and is scheduled for release on July 4th in Europe and July 12th in the USA via Century Media Records.

Hörnerfest
The roads near Hamburg will once more be a-clog when medievalists and metal heads converge on the small hamlet of Brande-Hörnerkirchen for the annual Hörnerfest on July 1st and 2nd. This is unashamedly my favourite of the smaller festivals, feeling more like a gathering of clan and brethren than a commercial venture so friendly is everyone.

Bernie Bandicoot is an Ukrainian gothic rock group which was formed in late 2009, with Bernie (vocals, guitars), Deamon (bass) and Adrian Cain (drums). Their style of music is very close to early 80"s dark post-punk, it offers some new wave and classic rock influences, especially on the guitar work. The overall mood is romantic and melacholic.
