Queens Of The Stone Age
Following the breakup of in the meantime reformed KYUSS in 1996 and after having played in one or the other band, Josh Homme began to realize the only thing that could really make him happy was an own new band, so he founded GAMMA RAY in 1997, renamed to QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE eventually because there’s already German band called GAMA RAY. 1998 saw the release of the self-titled debut album to rave reception, followed by a long lasting tour around the world.

Wave Gotik Treffen 2011 with Pre-Party on 9th June
Twenty years ago, two Gothic people from Leipzig had an unusual idea: They didn’t want to create yet another dark music festival but rather a supra-regional gathering of like-minded fellows for relaxed meeting, chatting and celebrating. When in 1992 the 1st Wave-Gotik-Treffen took place in 1992 at the edge of Leipzig with about 2,000 visitors and just a handful of bands, it is unlikely that anyone imagined that within a few years the WGT would become the largest meeting of Gothic people in the world, taking possession of a whole city every year at Whitsun. Now the WGT celebrates its 20th annual occurrence.

LOVE LIKE BLOOD is back after more than twelve year absence from stages and an almost equally long period of silence, LOVE LIKE BLOOD catch up with long-awaited. In 2011, the band around Yorck Eysel and Gunnar Eysel says good-bye to their fans and the concert stages. Final moments of farewell, thankful notes for wonderful moments of the edgy times. LOVE LIKE BLOOD will headline on Saturday the 24th of July 2011.
