Marc Almond - The Varieté 30 Years Anniversary Show
The boy who came back! After a motorcycle accident, British singer MARC ALMOND was in coma and after his awakening had a tough time regaining the ability to speak and sing again. With a touching album full of cover versions, he’s celebrating his survival and with his concerts in spring he’s celebrating his status as a gifted Entertainer. Returning to the stage was an even tougher thing to deal with than crossing the studio threshold. Eventually, it was Antony Hegarty, pushing Almond back on stage 2 years ago at the ‘Meltdown Festival’ curated by Patti Smith to overcome his fears. Now that this all of this already dates a few months back, MARC ALMOND has regained his strength; moreover he seems stronger than ever before.

Already from the tender age of 4 years, she‘s been trained to be concert violinist, composer and musical historian and at the age of 18, she already parted ways with her first label and released her violin debut ‘On a day…’ under the moniker of Traitor Records, the label she’s running to the present day. These can only be some little key points within the extraordinary and iridescent career of the creative individual that operates under the alias EMILIE AUTUMN. Her music and the prose she’s recorded until now breathe a special air, driven by the passion and devotion she’s putting into all she does, a spirit that hasn’t gotten an ounce weaker through all the time.

Swedish metal heads of DREAM EVIL aren’t just getting incredibly good reviews for their new album “In The Night”, they also entered the Swedish charts on #57. Congratulations!
