Finnish folk metallers FINNTROLL will release their new album,
"Nifelvind." The previously announced title "Mot Skuggornas Värld" has
apaprently been scrapped. The album is recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and was mastered by
Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The album cover artwork was created
once again by the band's guitarist Skrymer. The long-awaited album is set for 2010. - Details

LEAVES'EYES posted a second video online, about the 'Making of Njord.' The first part you can find in our Special, together with the statement from singer Liv Kristine about her illness during their last tour. With 'Industrial Complex’; EBM pioneers NITZER EBB will finally be releasing their long anticipated new studio album at the end of January 2010, being their first new recording since the release of ‘Big Hit’ in 1995. The new album also will be followed by a new tour of course. Those dates will be scheduled between the shows, NITZER EBB will be doing as support for DEPECHE MODE on their “Tour of the Universe” until the end of February 2010. Some of the songs, they'll be performing live from the 'Industrial Complex' project have already been heard on various film and television soundtracks, including Saw IV, Saw VI, NCIS and Fringe. Another track, ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, is featured on the upcoming Tony Hawk: RIDE videogame being released by Activision on 17th November 2009.Source: Newsletter

The Belgium festival GRASPOP METAL MEETING revealed the first bands for their 15th anniversary in 2010. KISS will enter the stage in Dessel. Diva Tarja Turunen is another surprising act this year. In total 70 band will finish the line-up. Presale started since 20 the November.
