More than eight years ago, the British Rock band SKUNK ANANSIE announced its breakup and caused a lot of disappointment of those who loved the multi-platinum selling formation for hits such as `Hedonism´ or `Weak´. Particularly, the forceful and at the same time emotional vocals of the charismatic front woman Skin left their marks on the band’s sound. Their best of-album `Smashes and Trashes´ will release at 2nd November and a big chance to see them live again comes up with the release.

The pre sale for the M’era Luna 2010 has started and on 7th and 8th August 2009, the dark scene gathers at Drispenstedt airfield for the 11th time to experience more than 20 live shows on 2 stages. Gothic metal band LEAVES' EYES won an award for their last DVD 'En Saga I Belgia' during the Metal Female Voices Fest a week ago, for 'best dvd.' The band did an acoustic performance and is busy with the preparations for the 'Beauty and the beast tour' starting in November.Bass player Alla Fredynitch can't join the band on tour, because she suffers from a herniated vertebral disk and paralysis on her right hand. And has to take a psychotherapeutic treatment for the next six weeks which makes it impossible for her to play the upcoming shows in Italy (31.10.09) and the "BEAUTY & THE BEAST" Tour (with LEAVES' EYES, ATROCITY (Werk 80 Show), SIRENIA, ELIS, STREAM OF PASSION).
