ENSIFERUM the Finish Viking metal band is busy with their new album 'From Afar'. The band’s fourth since first coming together back in 1995. Releasedate is 9th September. Currently the band is on the road in America with their 'The Summer Slaughter Tour.'Produced by Tero Kinnunen (Nightwish/Amorphis) and Janne Joutsenniemi (who has worked with the Helsinki band before), this latest outing – the follow-up to ‘Victory Songs’ (2007) – features a number of folk musicians, and has been mixed by the highly respected Hiili Hiilesmaa, whose previous clients include both Apocalyptica & HIM.
