Right on time for the release of the Covenants DVD ‘In Transit’ a new international fan-page has gone online. Under the well-known link http://www.covenant.de/ you'll find a totally new page, which is not only very enclosing but is also able to surprise with some unconventional background info.
The completely bilingual page (German/English) is well thought-out and lets you navigate through it by intuition. You'll find two main areas embedded in a pleasing design in which the designers of the page follow two different approaches. The first area “Your Knowledge Base” provides a unique and very detailed collection of dates, facts and info about COVENANT. Besides breaking news, a carefully investigated biography and the lyrics you'll find a complete “Liveography” with additional info as well as several galleries, interesting links and many other things.
A quite unusual but interesting concept is presented in the second area called “The Lost Port”. One approach to the creative work of the band on an abstract level and the articles are exceeding over mere facts. For examble you'll find an article about the functionality of the Theremins or how Northern lights are created. Less obvious topics and sources of inspiration are presented here.
Covenant.de is a very ambitious project which will be built out continuously in the future. The page provides a convincing proposal for fans as well as for newcomers, that is worth to pay it more than one visit.
