The band started in 2005 as the project of Fof (also known for his EFF DST idm-electronica project) with the intention of mixing darkwave / electro-industrial with female vocals and give it an overall club feel. Soon after Xev (singer of the famous Belarusian metal band Vicious Crusade) joined DIFFUZION. Later on the band extended to a trio with the addition of Taelih on synths.
A first release came via the local label Machinist Records which released their debut album ‘Wired Tunes’ at the end of 2007 as a very limited edition. It took only a few weeks for DIFFUZION to sign with Belgium's Alfa Matrix label when the label's A&R Manager discovered the band while he was visiting the Side-Line magazine office. 2008 will see the release of the album "Body Code" which will also be available as a limited double-CD carton box edition including a bonus disc with exclusive bonus songs and special remixes.
