Kultur Schock has finished production on their new album, LIVE IN EUROPE! LIVE IN EUROPE was recorded December 1, 2006 at a sold-out show in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the midst of a tour which took the band through Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, France and Spain. Clocking in at over 78 minutes, the album is sure to satisfy die-hard fans who have been begging the band to release a new live record. The 16 tracks span Kultur Shock’s career and include favourites from each of their previous four albums: Live in America, FUCC the INS, Kultura-Diktatura and We Came to Take Your Jobs Away.

The record captures the band at a particularly emotional moment. The 2006 Balkan tour was the first time that Gino, Mario and Val had performed as Kultur Shock in their home countries after many years away. For the Bulgarian crowd, this was the first opportunity to experience the band live after years of listening to recordings. The anticipation led to a magical evening for both band and audience, all of which is masterfully documented in the live recording. Recorded live in Sofia by Oggy Kiossovski of Greffitti Studios, the record was mixed by the legendary Jack Endino in Seattle and mastered in San Francisco by Mike Wells.

Kultur Shock is:
Gino Srdjan Yevdjevich (Sarajevo, Bosnia I Herzigovina) – lead vocals, percussion
Mario Butkovic (Brcko, Bosnia I Herzigovina) – guitar, vocals
Masa Kobayashi (Tokyo, Japan) – bass, vocals
Val Kiossovski (Sofia, Bulgaria) – guitar, vocals
Chris Stromquist (New York, USA) – drums, vocals
Matty Noble (Seattle, USA) - violin
