The Hamburg-based electro act FADERHEAD announced ‘FH3’ the successor of the very popular ‘FH2’ to be released on 10th October 2008. To get interested listeners in the right mood for it, there’s the brand new track ‘Exit Ghost’ as free digital download on http://www.l-tracks.com/. L-Tracks is a subsidiary company of the successful online shop Lost Legends (http://www.lostlegends.de/ / http://www.gothickleidung.de/ ) a company that was always interested in working creative for the scene, that made the company successful.“We always tried to slip creativity into our daily business, be it through photography, the development of an online game or other activities related to lost legends. The recent split of Accession Records and FADERHEAD (Which I consider one of the best Alternative Electro acts) gave us the chance to do, what we always wanted to do: To be more involved in the scene, we daily sell goods to; to give something back to the people, who made us successful.”, says Lost Legends owner (and now also label head) Marco Ribbe.
“Other than normal record labels, we have no special interest in yield maximation for the label, as the selling of CDs Is not our main business. So we can pay 80 % of the money that comes in to the artist – in this case FADERHEAD. With that we can help him to continue his career without him worrying about how this can be financed with private means and without getting influenced by any commercial aspects.”, adds Ribbe “And as the infrastructure already exists and we also own a successful online shop, a photo studio, a video production site and a web department, there’s no point in not using it; and to support artists we personally like – and I for one have listened to ‘FH1’ and ‘FH2’ for a hundred times in the last two years.”
The new FADERHEAD CD will be called ‘FH3’ and will be available in various formats; digital and via mail order as of 10th October 2008.
