"The 69 Eyes" on tour with a new album!
 | Finland is not only famous for tight-lipped misfits, cranky movies, a lot of lakes or conifers but also for "The 69 Eyes". Founded 15 years ago as a garage band they are one of the most successful gothrock bands in Europe. The 5 black humoured freaks from Helsinki are back with their 8th full length CD "Devils" and returned with it to their basics after they made a short trip to softer 80's-synthpop-inspired music with their album "Paris kills". The basics of the from bands like "Iggy & The Stooges", "Motörhead" or "The Doors" inspired "The 69 Eyes" are Rock'n'roll, Horror-Movies and Comics. The last inspiration for the new abum, singer and song writer Jyrki69, got from the home land of the Voodoo in Western Africa - which elements also can be found on "Devils".
